I started writing this album immediately after finishing "The Last Breath of the Dying (2001)" because I wanted to write faster songs that were more brutal where the riffs would change more often and more quickly, and with better drum programming.

This was finished in 2002 and I called it the "Forever Trapped in a Broken Mirror" demo which I released along with "The Last Breath of the Dying" as a split album. This was the original tracklist of the Forever Trapped in a Broken Mirror demo, however in 2006 I cut some of the tracks for the final album that Bloodbucket Productions released in 2008.
