This was the first song I released after Forever Trapped in a Broken Mirror and shows that I finally started to get interested in writing metal with a bit of jazz. I had also recently got into Hella at the time. This started a pretty big shift in songwriting for TOD as my musical tastes were also changing. The programmed drum parts are the same as the acoustic drum parts I had been practicing, but decided to use programmed drums instead.
